විනාඩියක් අරගෙන මේ පෝස්ට් එක කියවන්න කියලා ඔයාලා හැමෝගෙන්ම ඉල්ලනවා…
අපි කෙනෙකුට යමක් දීලා, ඒක Facebook හෝ වෙනත් සමාජ මාධ්‍යයක පළ
කරන එක මම පෞද්ගලිකව එතරම් අනුමත කරන දෙයක් නෙවෙයි.
ඒත් මේ කතාව ටිකක් වෙනස්.
මේ අම්මා රෝහලට යන්නේ තමන්ගේ පුංචි පැටියා මෙලොවට බිහි කරන්න. ඒ
දවසේම, මේ පැටියාගේ තාත්තා ඔවුන්ව අතහැරලා යනවා.
අද මේ පුංචි පැටියාටත්, මේ අම්මාටත් ඉන්නෙ ඔවුන් දෙන්නා විතරයි.
“දැන් මේ අම්මා මොනවා කරන්නද? මේ පුංචි පැටියා මොනවා කරන්නද?”
මේ අම්මා ගැන මට කිව්වේ Jani Miss.
ඒ හරහා අපිට පුළුවන් වුණා මේ පුංචි පැටියාට අවශ්‍ය සියලුම දේවල්
ලබාදෙන්න.
ඒත් ඇත්තටම, මේ කතාවේ ගෞරවය සහ පින හිමිවෙන්න ඕනේ දෙන්නෙකුට.

එහෙම උතුම් හදවත් තියෙන මිනිස්සු තාමත් මේ රටේ ඉන්නවා කියලා
දැනෙන්නේ මේ වගේ අවස්ථාවලදී.
මම මේක Facebook එකේ දාන්නේ එක හේතුවක් නිසා.
මේ වගේ පුංචි පැටව්, අසරණ අම්මලා මට නිතරම හමුවෙනවා.
මේ පෝස්ට් එක කියවන ඔයාලා අතරින් කෙනෙකුට හරි, මේ වගේ දරුවෙකු
වෙනුවෙන් පුළුවන් විදිහට යම් දෙයක් කරන්න හැකියාවක් තියෙනවා නම්, ඒක
කරන්න.
ඔයාලට ඒක පුංචි දෙයක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්. නමුත් තවත් කෙනෙකුට ඒ පුංචි
උදව්ව ඔහුගේ හෝ ඇයගේ මුළු ජීවිතයටම වටිනා දෙයක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
ඒ නිසා තමයි මම මේ කතාව බෙදාගන්නේ.
මේ පෝස්ට් එක දැකලා, “අපිටත් පුළුවන් කෙනෙකුගේ ජීවිතයක් ටිකක් හරි
ලස්සන කරන්න” කියලා ඔබටත් හිතෙනවා නම්, මට කතා කරන්න.
අපිට හැමෝගෙම ජීවිත වෙනස් කරන්න බැරි වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
ඒත් අපිට එක ජීවිතයක් හරි ලස්සන කරන්න පුළුවන්. ❤️

Personally, I am not someone who likes to post on Facebook or any other social media
platform whenever we give something to someone in need.
But this story is different.
This mother went to the hospital to give birth to her little baby. On that very day, the
baby’s father left them.
Today, this little baby and his mother have no one else to depend on. It is just the two of
them.
“What are they supposed to do? How are they supposed to face life?”
I was told about this mother by Jani Miss.
Through that connection, we were able to provide the little baby with the things the baby
needed.
But honestly, the credit and the merit for this act of kindness belong to two people:

It was especially Suneesha Akka who stepped forward and provided everything this little
baby needed.
Moments like this remind us that there are still truly kind and generous people in Sri
Lanka.
There is a reason why I am sharing this on Facebook.
I meet many mothers and little babies in situations like this.
If anyone reading this feels that they can do something—however small—for a child or a
mother in need, please do it.
What may seem like a small thing to you could mean the world to someone else.
That is why I am sharing this story.
